Valle Maira is a magical corner of Piedmont and lies close to the border of Italy and France. Our trail follows the Percorsi Occitani, a network of ancient pathways linking picturesque stone villages. We walk through a rugged and remote landscape, picnic by the side of pristine Alpine lakes, stay in small mountain villages and enjoy excellent Occitan cuisine. The local gin isn't bad either!
