A walk through the world's most famous vineyards
Take a gourmet walking tour through one of France’s most beautiful regions. While Paris may be France’s head, Burgundy can be thought of as its stomach; – it is a land of long meals based on the best ingredients, accompanied by the finest wines. Burgundy’s history is inextricably linked with wine which was made here even before the arrival of Christianity.
The region is home to some of Frances finest vineyards, including the Cote de Beaune and Cote de Nuits which make up the renowned Cote D’Or But Burgundy has much more to offer than famous vineyards, it has a rich historical, architectural and cultural heritage. We visit Medieval castles and Renaissance gardens; explore the magnificent cathedral towns of Cluny and Tournous and sample the cultural riches of Medieval Beaune- the capital of Burgundy and home to the incomparable Hotel Dieu.
